Why These Cases Fail So Often
Passphrase wallets do not forgive small mistakes.
- Do you have all your seed phrase words, or are some missing or uncertain?
- Did you use a BIP39 passphrase (sometimes called a 25th word) on top of the seed?
- Was this a SLIP39 share-based backup, and how many shares do you have?
- Do you remember the passphrase exactly, or only the logic or pattern behind it?
- What hardware or software wallet brand and model was used?
A tiny variation can produce a completely different wallet — which leads owners to assume the funds are gone when the setup is simply being reconstructed incorrectly.
